Digital Integration Platform

Our Digital Integration Platform seamlessly connects internal and external systems across our organization, streamlining processes and developing tailored regional applications. Leveraging technologies like Apigee, MuleSoft, AMQ, and Kafka, we optimize integration requirements at Inchcape. Automation solutions, powered by RPA technologies like UiPath and MS PowerAutomate, along with Azure resources, eliminate manual repetitive tasks. For custom regional applications, we employ front-end technologies including React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Material UI (MUI), coupled with back-end technologies like C#, .NET Core 7, ASP.Net, Azure Functions, and Entity Framework, addressing region-specific needs. Our approach enhances efficiency, boosts productivity, and fuels Inchcape's growth.

Our team comprises:

• Application Developers responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom regional applications addressing region-specific needs to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Integration Developers working on connecting internal and external systems across the organization to streamline processes and optimize integration requirements for Inchcape.
• RPA Developers focused on developing automation solutions that eliminate manual repetitive tasks to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Scrum Masters facilitating the Scrum process for the development team, ensuring that the team adheres to Scrum theory, practices, and rules.

 

Data Analytics Platform

The Data Analytics Platform boosts Inchcape's global AI, data science and decision intelligence. Our mission is to establish Inchcape as the industry leader in applying data analytics to automotive distribution by designing, building and scaling impactful global analytics products for our distribution business using our wholly in-house team of specialists. Through these tools, we elevate customer experience and promote operational Excellence across all the business’ revenue streams.
Our team is comprised of:
-Data scientists and data engineers harnessing cutting-edge analytics technology—such as Databricks and DataRobot—to deliver actionable data insights and prescriptive recommendations to our operating businesses.
-BI developers creating insightful visualizations of data and data scientists who develop powerful and advanced data models to support these visualizations.
-Applications developers and solutions analysts who create operational tools that package business process change and data analytics together for transformational business results.
-Data Engineers who harmonise and unify our global data model to power our artificial intelligence and decision intelligence products. "

 

Network, Cloud and Infrastructure

 

The Network, Cloud, and Infrastructure (NCI) team at Inchcape plays a strategic role in establishing and maintaining a resilient, secure, and high-performance technological foundation for the organization. This involves ensuring the reliability of network infrastructure, optimizing cloud resources for efficiency, enhancing security and compliance measures, and fostering innovation through technology exploration.

Our multidisciplinary team is composed of proficient engineers with expertise spanning IT engineering, network, cloud, architecture, security, and system administration. We are actively developing a global technology distribution center, where projects range from the consolidation of datacenters and migration to the cloud to systems and services for monitoring and network management. Leveraging leading technologies such as SDWAN and AVD on Azure, we create robust and integrated infrastructures through authentication/federation systems like Azure AD and Office 365 environments.

By aligning these efforts with broader business objectives, the NCI platform plays a pivotal role in supporting Inchcape's overall success and adaptability in the dynamic and evolving digital landscape."

Digital Experience Platform

Inchcape’s Digital Experience Platform (DXP) serves as our omni-channel customer and dealer platform, enhancing customer satisfaction by offering a seamless and enjoyable experience throughout the entire purchase journey, including aftersales care. Our globally scalable platform grants access to our full range of products and services, from initial search and comparison to post-purchase support. It facilitates various interaction modes, including digital, in-person, or blended options, ranging from fully online purchases with contactless delivery to combinations of online reservations with test drives and in-store pickups. This ensures a comprehensive omni-channel experience for both our customers and dealer staff.

 

Our team is made up of:
- Product -Managers responsible for designing our global product suite tailored for our customers, dealers, and OEM partners.
- Customer Journey Experts tasked with seamlessly integrating our suite of products to deliver an exceptional omni-channel customer experience.
- Solution Architects who collaborate closely with our eCommerce and Salesforce development teams to craft technical designs that bring our products to life.

Our team from ERP & DMS powers Inchcape's operations by serving as the operational backbone offering Principal Support, ambitious technology rollout implementations services and strategic partnerships with industry leaders like SAP, COUPA, INCADEA and Success factors.

Backed by a robust set of tools and processes, our Service Desk strives to achieve first-contact resolution across all channels. Core to our sustainable operation are User Experience, Knowledge Management, and Continuous Service Improvement. Our digital e-commerce platform, PartsLane has become an essential tool for both manufacturers and consumers of automotive parts. It offers manufacturers increased distribution efficiency, cost savings, and expanded market reach, while providing consumers with convenient access to a wide selection of products and detailed information.
Behind Digital Parts is a diverse team of tech enthusiasts, including experts in business analysis, UX/UI design, frontend and backend development, quality assurance, data engineering, and dev ops. Committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving innovation in the industry, we are dedicated to meeting the evolving needs of our clients.

DDC Operations

Our DDC Staffing team plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Inchcape Digital teams and Digital Delivery Centers. They oversee day-to-day operations, manage budgets and costs, allocate resources, drive continuous improvement in processes and operations, uphold health and safety standards, oversee corporate social responsibility initiatives, deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs), and handle facilities logistics and administration.
